Start Advertising on Google

It’s not hard. It looks hard.

The success Google has had with it’s online advertising platform is tied to the range of people who successfully navigate the setup screens, set a budget, and start receiving clicks.

Small businesses can run a campaign on $5/day. Large businesses may spend $1000/day.

The navigation menus can be daunting, but ultimately, it’s not hard.

To get started
1) sign up for an account with Google. That’s free.
2) create some ads (those things that show up in the right hand side of your search results)
3) assign some keywords for your ad (words and phrases that people search on)
4) set up your payment method (credit card)
5) wait a couple of days for your ads to start showing
6) check the traffic on your keywords, and adjust
